FYI has been an artist since the large dance movement began in the 90's drumming in various Manchester outfits and DJ'ing House & Trance to clubbers accross the country. He began to notice a pattern with the various vinyls he would spin and discovered that the more simplified the record, the more popular it became. With the early 2000's favouring Hip-Hop and Urban acts, FYI sat on the fence for a while to take inspiration from other genres, producers and artists of this time before settling into his own crafted studio with the help of an engineering friend. From here FYI spent the best part of a year creating tracks and experimenting with different software elements to create a group called 'Dirty House Project'. The response was mixed and critics couldn't put a finger on what or where this EP should be placed amongst genres. FYI decided to go back to the drawing board taking inspiration from the early days and simplify his tracks with the focus on what makes revellers tick, what makes them move. With this formula in hand, FYI is back with infectious melodies and pounding drum hits and with the Rhythm label behind him, he is once again ready to fill dance floors across the globe.
